Florian Kechi Okpara is a Lagos-based contemporary artist and the protégé of Sam Ebohon, a giant in Nigerian art market and current President of The GFA. Okpara is a Bachelors degree holder in English Literature; and he is able to translate his story telling abilities into vibrant strokes using kinetic brushwork. He is currently exploring the different cultures and peoples of Africa. He is of the belief that in order to progress as a people there is a need to search within so as to take charge of the African cultural narrative. He paints from his studio apartment in Lagos and hopes, in his spare time, to defeat Thanos, collect the mind stone, and use its powers to find the secret to the krabby patty form
